Well I finally got off my butt and opened the rear Wilwood Dyna-lite brakes with parking brakes. Good news is all the parts are there. The bad news is the calipers do not match the fronts. The rears are actually black and the fronts are what Wilwood calls "Platnium". Apparently Wilwood changed to platinum powdercoating...

I’ve been keeping this under wraps for a few weeks while working with Shawn Mascoll of Mascoll Designs. This is a rendering of the completed look for Project EH-body. So what do you think? Joe

Well today my brother in law and best friend Jim came over to work on the car. I started work on the hood hinges with gas struts and he started on the Wilwood front brakes since I had the front AlterKtion assembled. Here’s the Wilwood Dynalite hub and rotor bolted together. Here’s the back of...

Well I found some time tonight while my wife went out shopping. I started to assemble the front AlterKtion. It’s so easy! I got the lower control arms on, the QA1 coilovers and the spindles. I’ve been stopped in my tracks as I don’t have the stock bolts for the upper control arms. I now...

Well the rest of the floor has been removed. I’m thinking I’m going to use POR 15 down inside all the frame rails to go over that rust and such. Then when the new floors are welded in the insides of the frame rails would be coated. I’ve also been working on trying to get...

I told myself over the last week at work that I needed to start digging in and getting the Duster worked on. I decided if I could get a bunch of things ready for welding, maybe my welder (brother-in-law) will do some welding when he returns from a business trip. I started out and got...

Well I was bored tonight and decided working on the car, at least something was in order. So I cut out my Challenger fuel door body mount and got it ready to weld into the body. Here’s some pictures. Here’s to hoping I can mock up some more tomorrow. Joe
